While working at Pivotal, eero hired us to build the MVP for a brand new paid product for home networking installers. It's main goal was to help troubleshoot connection issues during eero home wifi network device setup.


Technicians that usually install home security, home entertainment systems, as well as the eero mesh wifi networking hardware were using the consumer tool to troubleshoot. Their needs were much more technical than consumers were.

Workflows and Process

We talked to a number of installers directly to learn more about their pain points and process. One step of this was a card sort exercise to rank some of the problems they were facing.


The final product was launched quickly - a few months from when we began. It had an overview of their customer networks, and a detailed view of the network details and connected devices.
